Late winter, when the first bulbs start to appear, is a great time for pruning, clearing and getting ahead with garden maintenance in Wadebridge, Rock, Polzeath and Padstow. As The Cornish Garden Company, I look after gardens of all sizes across this part of North Cornwall – from regular garden maintenance and hedge cutting to seasonal planting schemes and new borders. I’m now taking bookings for Spring 2026 garden work and planting projects, so this is a good moment to get things in the diary.

I’m Vicky Nicholas. After completing a Geography and Archaeology degree at Leicester University, I returned home to Cornwall and qualified in Horticulture and Conservation at Duchy College. I started my first gardening business, The Cornish Garden Team, in 2002 and have spent more than twenty years providing professional garden maintenance and planting schemes in North Cornwall. Over that time I’ve built a reputation for plant knowledge, reliability and a down-to-earth work ethic – mowing, strimming, hedge-cutting, building stone walls, creating planting schemes and working alongside other local professionals.
